Art Print - "Senna Coming out of Turn in Monaco GP"
"Senna Coming out of Turn in Monaco GP" - Senna driving for McLaren in 1988.
Ayrton Senna’s pole-position lap for the 1988 Monaco Grand Prix has passed into Formula 1 folklore with its mesmeric time of 23.9 seconds.
The sport’s greatest driver, behind the wheel of one of its all-time greatest cars, was always going to produce something special at this most iconic venue.
And he did. A Legendary Lap so incomparably quick that it transcended the sport. A lap that could not be comprehended by mere mortals; so dizzyingly fleet that it felt more supernatural than supersonic which could be seen from a kind of ghostly look came over Alain’s face who's lap record was 25.4.
