"Dan Gurney. Shelby Team 289 Cobra" - a piece showcases Dan Gurney taking a turn going through a Sicilian village in the Shelby Team 289 Cobra in the 1964 Targa Florio, first in class. When I met Dan I was just puzzled as I learned that he had recently recovered after a motorcycle accident. I suppose that is what being a racer at heart means - you just never slow down. I just think about how lucky I was to be able to meet him still alive. A true legend he was!
